Help with a smoking cossie PLEASE.
On the wkend we changed the t3 for a t34. t3 was running with greens, 3bar, chip. NO probs with it. Put the t34 on which has never been on a car, (brand new). Aslo fitted induction kit, with new hoses. Binned the airbox. Got a spec r breather that fits to both sides of the block. Not fitted yet however, the fire trap side of the breather is left open to breathe into atmosphere. Now on start up i get some blue smoke out the exhaust, when driving though and car is warm when you back off LOADS of blue smoke AND WHITE SMOKE when you get back on the throttle LOADS MORE of white smoke. AND IT,S DOING MY F*cking head in.
So please could someone give me an idea as to how i sort this out. Sorry it,s took sooooooo long to explain.

To breathe from both sides of the block, ideally you want to breathe from the firetrap location, the blanked off bit under the exhaust manifold, and have an oil return to the sump itself (below oil level), and then vent to atmosphere or catch tank.
Sort out the breathers matey, this is a common fault on 200sx's,the breathers are crap on them, and the cars smoke all day long, which looks like turbo problems, but isnt!
and your problems suggest this to me,so get it plumbed in right and u should be ok

thanks for all the replys guys on this. i still have the t3 chip in it as i want to take it and get it chipped for the t34 and live map it at the same time. The breather is not fitted either but the engine is breathing from the open fire trap on the right hand side of the block. But with the spec r breather fitted it will breathe from both sides and cam cover. Please could you guys tell me that once this is all in place do you think that it,ll stop smokin and will the live map help???
