I have a nasty aerial that has been fitted to the rear wing and want to remove it (weld plate filler paint etc.)

where abouts in the boot does it fit?


PS. anyone got one for sale must be working 100%

 

in the boot, i was told there built into the rear window de-mister (the thin stripes on the rear screen)

 

I know it`s fitted in the boot m8 but need to know where

It`s a small box type thing that the aerial lead plugs into from radio yes your right the rear window de mister things works like an areail but need to use thus radio amp aerail thing to make it work

 

I think its in the actual boot lid, has a coax screw in lead attached to it

 

It's up underneath the rear shelf in the middle (between the carpet shelf and the metal shelf) It will most likely still be there cant see any one bothering to take it out.

I can`t find it anywhere some one must of removed it. when they drilled a hole in the wing and fitted a nasty aerial

its gonna be the same in any old sapphire - so a trip to your local breakers with a fiver in your hand should secure one.

Someone fitted that aerial for a reason! The standard sapphire set up is bloody useless!

 

i jsut replaced my aerial cable running up the passenger side a pillar down to the back works fine now

the cable plugs into the box that connects to the rar window demister is that what ure after tony ?

 

have you got the rear parcel tray out DOO? you won't see it until the parcel shelf is removed (can't see it from underneath)
