Default saph alternator on a 3door

my alternator has packed up on my 86 cossie and was wondering if its worth me getting a 88 saph alternator.
i think my old one is 70 amp and the saph is 90 amp. aint to shore tho!

ive got a new head unit 2 amps and front component speakers and a sub.
so think i need a higher amp alternator.
or will a 70amp alternator do.

I'd try & get one off a granada 2.8 then you can run as many amps etc as you want
