nah they are -transferred- from camera to pc, like a hard disk, you dont upload a file if u copy from c: to d: do you

But it's an independent device. You download from the device to your PC and upload them to a server!!

but you can also cut and paste the images, and it does create a virtual drive on your pc, much the same as a usb hard drive. therefore not a download!
