I found something like that on the auto specialists website but it looked like a polished add on rather than an actual functional piece of kit.
Anyway, what i'm after is a plate that will go round the struts, or inner wings for a saph???

 

Yes, it can be done.

In the Ford motorsport prep manual, there are some plates that you fabricate and weld to the wings for extra strength etc



You can also use something similar like Escort cosworth does in standard form - it has a plate welded between the strut top and the wing.
