Just been 2 see car

Apart from every panel been lightly paint stripped it hasn't even gone down 2 the metal

It is a dog of a car both front seats collapsed dash it fuked engine bay inner wing gone a very badly welded battery tray some bodge job bleed valve in dash, fuking switches everywhere inside dash board turbo smokes like a bitch doesn't even boost needs new sills, suspension etc

the only think going for it is the doors & boot which would be fine after a repaint & exhaust system

The owner wanted 2.5k for before it was paint stripped he now won't go less than 1.5k you'd be very lucky to make that back in parts if not at all

Basic story was his mate was getting a kicking he jumped into help and then both his cars got paint stripped and it the 2nd time his vectra had been done

Not even gonna go into where the place he lived was like

Shame really cause it probs was a very nice car it had loadsa RSOC history and a North Wales RSOC plaque on the dash and had been totally restored back in 1998 with agreed value of 4k back then.

It just got into the hands of scum and been destroyed

I am fukking glad you went to look at it and post all that, as I was considering getting it! I fancy another S1 (I know I shouldn't get one, but I want one!) and don't mind about the paint as I would do a couple of little body mods and have it sprayed up to look all new n shiney, but after reading all that, think I'll give it a miss

It would require full paint job and replace both front seats and then onto the engine complete strip and rebuild i'd say then inner arches then battery tray and some sills u just wouldn't know when to stop when your wallet was ££££3 lighter i was only going buy it 2 probably end up stripping it and sell on what was worth owt.

I know it criminal 2 strip them but if there is some1 out there who really wants it they'll pay the asking price & restore it

But if u got the spare time go look at it if u want and make ya own judgement on it but be warned the owner is a proper boyo he came and met me on a push bike which was probs nicked off his next door neighbour
