whats the best intercooler you can buy off the shelf for my series 1, any links are greatly appreciated

All front mount intercoolers are pritty much the same i have a gen2 pro alloy front mount tis the ballox lol

its down to peoples own oppion (spelling) mate there are Pro Alloy,GRS,RADTEC and PACE.

I run a Pro-Alloy FMIC and find it very good TBH

Would personally go for the GRS...

Radtec and Pro Alloy defo quality IC's though, can't go wrong with any of them

PRO ALLOY !!!!mines the latest version for the s1 the qualitys great, think GRS is supposed to be able to cope with higher boost levels 20psi+ but how many people run that PRO ALLOY every time

any chance of seeing your series 1 with the bonnet down & grill on mate cos it looks pretty good but i dont want to change the looks at all

One of the big power S2 lads has tried both Pro Alloy and GRS and stuck with the GRS.
Think that says it all myself

Tried both myself but ended up with Pro Alloy. Both top quality products. Just wasn't right for my engine at the time.

Despite the slagging they get I have run a Pace chargecooler for the last 8 years and I really really rate it.
