i drink 6-8 tins stella/carling a night. I dont get off me head, just mellowed out and stuff.

Thing is, is it just me that drinks that amount every night week in week out. Oh and they dont include me sat night pub visit

really. i been doing it like 7 or 8 years, I dont feel compelled to drink more or carry on until i cant walk. I stop when i have had enough. some days i may only have like 3 and stop.

 

CAN you go a day without drinking? or do you always crave beer?

 

i am sure others would agree to differ but i do like to drink a half case of carling a night (12 cans) and a good 40 pints between friday and sunday !

you need to watch out for the beer gut tho mate as i have gained 10 stone on this beer diet in only a few years and have a 66" gut. if that is what you want then go for it !

 

If I have 2 or 3 bottles of bud in a week I feel guilty

 

id say 3-4 is more appropriate really...

i just have a 1 can to chill with, but most nights not even that... until Friday night

 

i guess i could go a day without beer. I certaionly dont think tohave one at breakfast or at lunchtime. I have them when i get home around 7pm or if its a sunday around 3pm onwards

 

i am 31 years old .6ft1. size 34 waist. have a really good balanced diet apart from beer. oh except fruit, i aint keen on it

 

Doesnt sound like you really have an addiction problemthen, but drinking that many cans a night isnt good on your body and health in general.

Do you think "oh, i must have a beer" or is it more a case of "hmm, ive finished work I quite fancy a nice cold beer on the sofa"?

 

same here mate. only drink when off duty. how many cans you get through a week? i get through 4 or 5 cases of 24 plus a good 30 or so pints on weekend.

big problem is weight gain although i dont mind.

That's me TBH...............I can go wiothout and not even think about it but it's nice to crack open a cold one and chill..............but if I have 3 that's more than enough for me.

 

no tthought about it, normally i get in say ho to kids and missus, grab a beer, have a few mouthfuls., have shower come back downstairs finish tin off,

have maybe 1 more, then food, then pc, chillout with more beers

 

well yesterday i bought 20 cans of carling for Ł10. I have 7 left plus one i drinking now, I gave 3 away to me mates last night.

If you get irritable or cant sleep then you have a problem, if not carry on

I can happily have about 2-3 cans one or two nights a week and feel chilled and relaxed! No more IMO

Just over do it when going out on Saturdays and regret it like feck on Sunday

im like that at best of times in terms i dont sleep well. nevr have done, i aint irritable tho at all tbh, unless peeps wind me up

 

I went to the pub 7 nights a week and had at least 4 pints of lager Sun -Thurs,then 6/8 pints Fri + Sat for about 4 years in a row..I didnt put on weight,Im 5'11,32 inch waist and weigh 12 stone. Then my mate moved away and I now drink once a week,every Sunday and i have 4 pints.I dont miss the drink and looking back I dont feel I had a drinking problem.So to Sludge,if you feel good and happy keep on drinking!!!Regards Micky

 

My Uncle was exactly the same, did pretty much that for about 20 years.

His funeral is Monday , Yardley Crem in Birmingham, 42 yrs old as well which is a tad grim.

 

Yes but the trouble is, how long before you do start having drink for breakfast youve got to be giving your liver some shit, your not going a day without letting it rest

seriously try cutting down, then stopping on a week night having one only occasionally! you will feel so much better and save yourself a hell of lot of cash!!!!!

 

i drink a little less but pretty much the same 5-6 cans a night but can quite happily go without i think its more of a chill out thing not an im home must have beer thing
