so he sets off in front of me a hoofs it, and upto about 60 , he's just gaining, then i'm in 4th, at about 70, and booooost and move over boyo, 5th and see ya, i turned to look and he's playin all cool, one arm on the drivers door, seat so far reclined he car barly see over the steering wheel - what a shunt, are all porsche drivers as smug, even though a 14 year old car has just had em,,


just looke on the spec, the S is 295 brake, so thats probably about right, once your in 4th and 5th ina stg 3 cossie, you do have the upper hand on most stuff i'd say

I had the opportunity to take on the new Carrera S and let's just say that the Porsche didn't come out on top.

Nice having play with cool cars!! Remember racing a Porker turbo think it was 911 or what ever it is lol was new one last year and had proper play with it late at night on quite roads was a good laugh! TBH think my car was a tad quicker but not much!!

I seen 1 today and must say i would prefer the boxster and believe me i dont like the boxsters.

They look like a inbred love child of a carrera and a boxster.

 

Guys, a 911 Turbo (996) driven properly would waste your cossies........dont kid yourself into thinking anything different. Problem is your average 911 driver wont be giving their car the kicking you are!!!

You would beat a Cayman and Boxster S though probably.

Cayenne Turbo would probably surprise you driven properly as well.

 

Always nice to hear of an older (and supposed inferior) car teaching a younger snob a few things...

Probably wont upgrade as I dont think its worth the 10K premium.

I was having a good tear up with that M3 CSL on the RSOC track day and there was nothing in it.

 

Was great to watch. Love Cayenes. This Gemballa one was on the Gumball. Kept breaking gearboxes though

 

The Gemballa Cayenne has like 700 BHP or something doesnt it?

Ive looked into getting mine remapped with a bit more boost but there is not much to gain really, and also have to consider the potential warranty issues should something go wrong!!!!

 

I would definately get it tweeked by DMS... heard nothing but good thing about them

Warrenty would scare me but you could always get it put back I reckon with no problems.
