i watched it the other day though and the guy off American Hotrod (the one with a problem with his mouth, think his name is mike) was on Overhaulin....

He was making the wheels but was wearing Foose clothes....

has he switched???

 

Did you not see the episode of American Hotrod where Boyd (the boss) found out that Mike was working part time for Chip?

Classic betrayal

Boyd was almost crying as him and Chip are sworn jedi enemies

So he fired Mike and he went to work for Chip full time, good move i'd say!!

Mike was testing a Hot Rod on the salt flats/desert, and rolled it. Smashed himself to pieces..... Had loads of metal plates inserted into his head and face...

They show the car wreckage on one of the later series.......

cant remember the guys name, but the chap who did the spraying for Boyd was also on Overhaulin too, he now works for Foose as well, Boyd has got to be one pissed off person, but then again, he does act like an asshole a lot...

Foose, without a doubt, Boyd is an asshole, way too much drama

Mike is an engineer?, its obvious to me he knows fuck all about roll cages

 

Boyd is just a grumpy old fart, most people dont realise that boyd's most famous
car the boydster was actually designed by Chip Foose !!

 

The difference for me is that Boyd just sits in his office and has other people do his work, whereas Chip loves to get hands on and has the ability to do the most complicated stuff.......

it always amazes me when Chip freehand draws the car how he wants it to look, as ive never been a good drawer myself, but those sktches are unbelievable.......

 

True Chip is real hands on not just a project manager.

Imo i prefere hotrod as a show but boyd is a total wanker.
So far ive seen Mike leave,charlie left,charlies mate left.
He fired blue bear and the guy blue bear was winding up alot.
He fired that young kid for joking with dwain(sp) about "if you want the job done right do it yourself"
And he came real close to firing that guy from germany(or maybe sweden )
What is Boyds problem?
