ST or no ST, you will always be a poof mate

Dark blue with no stripes I recon looks best. But get it lowered as they look a bit 4x4ish from standard.

I havent driven an ST but my brother has a TDCi Zetec S, that's a brilliant little car. Handling is unreal and it's extremely fast in real world driving conditions. Not that fast 0-60 but on windy roads etc it flies point to point. Apparently the st has alot better suspension and handling compared to the zetec-s and thats good, properly corners like its on rails.

Get one, you won't be dissapointed

edit ** Don't lower it you'll fooking wreck the handling.

No, you would be gay if you have sex with men. Hope this helps.

My Mum has one and I think it’s a cool car! [She hates it]…it’s pretty nippy and handles great! The main thing that lets it down is the brakes will fade very quickly. 5-10 minutes down a country lane and they’ll start to struggle!

My mum hated hers to for a bit - is almost as bad on fuel as my s2 and mum isn't happy about paying £150 a tyre

but she likes it again now, as it's held it's value extremely well and it's been getting a lot of good press

Didn't know about the brake fade thing?? Ford gave us a free trackday with ProDrive when mum bought hers, but she thought i might destroy it and banned me from taking the ST

My Mum went from a Merc CLK320 to the ST!! So its no wonder she doesn’t like the bumpy ride!!

Don’t know if they all brake fade, just my experience down my local back roads. After a few big stops the brakes were starting to fade.

I do like it though…..stick one of those 200+BHP Cosworth Duratecs in it, a Quaife LSD and a set of AP’s and it’d be a monster.

Good offers on them, I saw one advertised for £219 per month 0%apr with only £1500 deposit, brand new. Once you got to modern motoring you hardly will want to go back to an RST.

I drove my s2 round to its new owner the other night and it was horrible to drive, no PAS, brakes where poor and handled as an old car should.

You can get the Pirellis for under 70 quid.

My white one with stripes turns up at the end of the month, been on order since January.

I already have some 18 inch MO's and Eibach springs for it amongst alot of other bits

No your gay if you prefer boys to girls!

I like the Fiesta ST, and will probably get one once their second hand value is around the 5k mark

Nice clean lines, with nothing on it that doesn't need to be unlike most modern cars, I think it's shape is in the spirit of the S1 RST!

Why would you take a brand new car that handles amazingly and that ford have spent millions on developing the suspension etc and stick wagon wheels on it and lower it to fook the handling

Because its mine

They sit too high as standard, they handle better with the Eibach springs which you can buy over the counter from Fords keeping the warranty as long as they fit them.

Ford dont fit the springs with the rate set for optimum handling, its a combination of comfort and handling.

As for the wheels, they look awesome on 18's

They handle best on the 16" Zetec-S rims which come standard on the continent
