Afternoon gents,

I became the new owner of this car on Saturday and the guy I got it from mentioned it had been in Fast Ford twice. Does anyone know what issues it was in or anything else interesting about it?

Its got a 2.1 ZVH engine in it by the way

Yeah the guy was very honest about it and I have the green slip anyway. I took it in px for an RX7 so not too bothered. Usually it might have put me off but I've always had a soft spot for RSTs and everything else was spot on with it so I'm happy.

Its the same shell anyway isn't it so its only a few words on the log book thats different?

I will have to sell it soonish though as I'm a car dealer and already have too many toys! Would love to keep it but I can't garage it like it deserves unfortunately

I'm doing something similar with my 1990 325i Sport (well been doing it for the last 4 years!).

Having the RST set up on a rolling road tomorrow by these guys following the latest engine rebuild... http://www.balmuirgarage.co.uk then I'll probably put it on ebay. Might be a few weeks though as I'm moving house and haven't got a lot of time!

is it running EFi yet or is it STILL on MFi?

 

on a g plate must be efi i would think?

 

All s2 engines were MFI as std

 

wouldn't matter what plate its on as it didnt originally have that engine!


its just with the amount of owners since Rob had it i assumed it would have had EFi fitted by now
