Default rocker cover painting

can i use normal paint on a rocker cover or would i have to use special high temp paint

Supposed to use high temp paint but you could use hammerite.

A mate of mine has used spray paint and had no problems with it peeling as long as the paint is put on in several layers it should be ok as the rocker cover doesn't get that hot

Heat resistant stuff................I wouldn't put my hand on a rocker cover after the engines been run............

You could Laquer it

Mr S1 Dont matter if it was heat resistant or not, i wouldnt put my hand on a hot rocker cover at all

Personally i would have it powder coated

yes the same paint that the car is paintet in...even use it for the brakes to..don't last as long but just paint it every year....

yes ive heard of those batteries recharge 5 times faster and guaranteed for being flattened 40 times IIRC
