PF smillies no longer animated?

Just installed Zone Alarm pro, now the smillies dont work, any ideas?

and un-installing it isnt an idea

Adjust the settings Andy, I run Zone Alarm pro. Go into Security settings and just downrate the level you're on

Everything is set to medium

The version is Zone Alarm pro 6.1.744.001 if that means anything?

OK, when it prompts you with the warnings box and asks do you want to allow this program did you say yes to it ? I'm assuming the smilies package you are after isn't the 'standard' one of PF as it shouldn't block that. If it is a separate program and you said 'no' it'll go into the 'blocked' list. 'Fraid I have no idea where that is or how to remove as I've never had to..........

ROFL @ Pop's "shake the screen"

I run the stock Zone Alarm and all my smileys are stil animated and work fine.... Clear out your cookies and all Temp Files (within IE, TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS > DELETE COOKIES / DELETE FILES (tick box for INCLUDE OFFLINE CONTENT) and try logging in agan see if it helps...

Had the same problem a while ago => my PC was infected with some fookin virus... Better check your PC on virusses m8.

Just done that as my PC blue screened

I deleted Norton 2006 and zone alarm pro and went back to trusty Norton 2005.

Now the weird thing is, only

are animated and nothing else

Removed the firewall....

If you want a good free one then download KPF (Kerio Personal Firewall).

Used that before I got a real hardware one on my router.

yeah, Norton 2006 s*cks!!

I've deleted Norton and i'm using Kaspersky Virusscanner right now which is the best Anti virus scanner on the market nowadays.

There is an option somewhere in ZA for blocking pop ups, animations and banners. You need to go into these settings and untick the animations box for the smilies to work. Where this option is I cant feckin remember
