I've just installed the free speed camera site software that came with my dads tomtom GO 500, but it won't show me where the cameras are when I plan a route, should it show me them on a demo of the route?

 

Have you enabled the speed camera POI's - there should be a POI (point of interest) menu.

 

It shows you when you are on route... They just pop up with the warning you have installed

 

right is it just a red sign with 30 or 40 in it?

just planned a route to somewhere up north and it comes up with them now and then...

if thats the case they haven't got any of the camera locations over here, might have to e-mail them to update it
