How quickly can a set of blue motorsport leads fail?

How quickly can a set of blue motorsport leads fail?
On a stage 3 Cossie? Could a set fail in say 10K miles?

They have been known to fail from new. The So called 909 blue Motsport leads are crap. Better with Ford original black ones.

Really? Didn't know that! What about the "silicone" ones you see on eBay for £125 a set, any good or should I go for standard Ford ones?
