small ex.housing with big comp housing

hello....i was reading a topic on the MLR about a bloke with a 2.3litre stroker engine....nice work he did...

but he showed the turbo he was putting on....
but isn't the ex.housing a little to small for the comp.housing...
maybe im wrong...

alot of the so called super turbos are surge tastic..

saw one of the dentists supposed 400 conversion on the rollers at AVA and it surged it head off

Depends how the car consumes air, it might be ok, might be surgetastic, probably the latter.

Lot of WRC turbos (and race turbos in general) are similar these days, but dont seem to work on normalish roadcar heads.

Evos might be ok with it, who knows, we clearly dont
