I am just trying to find out if the 3 door and sapphire washer bottle level sensors are the same? Does anybody out there know? Thanks.

My sapphire is a May 1990 and is one of the last of the 2WD to be made and this does have the level sensor which is faulty (wire broken off) causing the warning light to flash next to the low fuel warning light.

not sure if they are the same, but i've got a granada 24v one in mine....

 

the saphs never had them
what you've got is the header tankl from an earlier car and the level sender from the washer bottle wired into the header tank

the seners are all the same, but you just have to make sure the plugs at the end will fit as they changed shape at least once

 

my saph coz 2wd 1990 g reg has a level sensor i now this cus the sensor is had it & the light on the dash stays on all the time

 

My 92 sapphire has a washer bottle level sensor as well

 

they all had a washer bottle level sensopr, but if you put a level sensor into the header tank you can use the same sensor to indicate when you have lost coolant rather than screenwash

i know which i'd rather than

 

they are the same cus i had an xr41 wich had one in and it is the same on my saph

 

yes mate you can swop them over cus my xr4i had one in the header tank as well........
