Default Aol Broadband connection!?

im still on dialup
but just got an offer from aol, Gold membership which is 512kbps for free and £20 a month which includes firewall software.
I thought i may as well try it as i can send the package back within 7 days if i dont like it
does anyone have the same?

i have bt yahoo 1 meg i have it mainly for xbox live but when you do use it on the web its wicked you will be loving it

I'm on AOL broadband & have been since it was introduced almost 2 years ago, never had a problem.

AOL dialup is SOOOO shite its unbeleivable that they get away with sellig it to people

dunno what their BB is like, but i assume its a lot better

Agreed, I had the dial-up prior to BB & it was utter shite but the BB is very good in my experience, although apparently it's not the best for playing games on the net but I've never tried TBH.

is the 20 pound for full 512 broadband, as in you can download as much as you want , only im on virgin at 24 pound

dunno about AOL specifically, but Broadband rocks, if I had to live on a deserted island, I would take Broadband with me

check out http://www.adslguide.org.uk/ for details (service providers links on the left hand side), there may be better deals out there, and a BB provider ranking that tells you how real users rate their provider.

Do it, you will never look back.

£20 is only for people who have been with AOL for a while , i.e over a year normally the price is £24.99 and their 1MEG line is £29.99 which is very reasonable

i pay 29.99 i think and i can access bb at one house and still use my dial up at the other gaff as i cant get bb there so its the best of both worlds
