Tyres!! A question for the techies!!!
Guys/Gals,
My missus is getting some new tyres on her front wheel drive rs 2000 mk5 cabriolet. Sha has the escort cossie rims and the guy is suggesting that she has 215/45/16 on the front and 225/45/16 on the back.
To be honest as it is a front wheel drive I beileive that the wider tyres should be on the front or all the same the whole way round. If you have rwd they should be fatter on the back.
any advice????

I personally wouldn't ever put wider tyres on the front, no harm in having wider tyres on the back, but by keeping them the same at least you can rotate the tyres around the car.
