Default Help, would really love to track down my old car ...

When I was 22, I was lucky enough to buy a brand new S2 RS Turbo, registration F696 LBM in Mercury Grey
Had a few options, i.e. metallic paint plus fuel computer and the extremely rare front spoiler option. Basically fitted onto the original bumper
Anyhow, I know its a long shot but if this car exists still I'd love to track it down
If anyone has seen it or knows of it history wise, please get in contact
Thanks a million

The vehicle details for F696 LBM are:

Year of Manufacture 1988
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1597CC
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Petrol

Vehicle Colour GREY

Looks like it aint been taxed since 01/02/1996 ? dosnt look good.

Thanks a lot for the info, guys.
Checked myself on the DVLa site and you're quite correct. Not taxed since 96. I guess that means its no more .... boohoo ... gutted now

Strange though that it is not registered as being a write off, I would have thought it would be classified somewhere as such. Maybe I can re-invent it as its quite a gutter to think a car that had such a major effect on my life is no more

How do I find if it is or not, will the DVLA tell you.
If it is off the road and still around, would absolutely love to get it back and get it rebuilt. Though the Mrs may not be too impressed as I already have an E30 M3 convertible sitting in the garage .... oops

It's hard to say what's happened to it mate !

Could of been stolen, scrapped. . i.d. may live on (on another car)

DVLA is a starting point though!
