Non turbo is shat! as i know a boy whos got one and its dog slow! though his is a bit rought!

how come you want one? there bit ugly and expensive to run! as i know someone who used ot have a 450bhp one and he told me how much parts and running cost was

i had a jap import 300zx non-turbo.. Generally it was fast enough, but not entirely great to drive. Don't get me wrong it handled and accelerated very well but it was very boring to drive.

I'd definitely go for the UK twin turbo as the insurance premuim for that would be the same as an Import N/A. Definitely get the TT if you can.

The automatic gearbox's in the UK spec are much better than the japanese ones, so if you do get an import make sure it's manual.

I'd buy a UK TT if i was to get one again.

Cheap do buy, not easy to work on.

Decent cars tho.

Always slightly in my mind as one of them is the ONLY car i raced (and i used to try with everything) that beat me in 3years of having the 3door!

It was when i was running 25psi on greens so 350bhp tops, and a full interior (ie only owned about 6months, lol), a claimed (by the owner) 550bhp red one pissed on me in about 4 races from 70-160odd. Massive flames from both exhausts on every gearchange.

Aaah memories

I had an import 300zx twin turbo a couple of years back. She was a manual one with some mild engine mods, full Veilside bodykit, 10" wide wheels at the back!

Probably one of the only cars i regretted selling. Had 6 months of TROUBLE FREE motoring!! (one of the lucky ones!)

She was an animal!! Couple of snaps...

they're definitely pretty good handling wise out the box, never had it going dodgy on me- always pretty predictable. You can pick them up cheap and even insurance is pretty cheap on them too so i reckon it must have been down to driver error.. prob some young chap :P

afterall they are supercars.. they can't be that bad.

Dan- Never said they are, most jap stuff is nothing special, same as most non jap stuff, and i dont rilly like ZXs.

But your jus talking rubbish from one thing you saw, if it oversteered on a corner he no doubt put his foot down too much, any RWD cossie would do the same, most RWDs would...

not sure if they are tbh. In my eyes, supercars are Ferraris, Lambos, 911 porkers, Dodge Vipers etc etc..... WOuldn't say a cossie, zed or hondas are supercars (ive owned all 3 so not biased at all).
