i have been trying to get some quotes for fitting a worktop in my kitchen (only bit of installing the kitchen i am not sure of, so thought i may as well get some quotes to get a pro to do it, and for the last 2 or so week si have only been able to get 1 person round, they dont show or have crap excuses why they couldnt make it, really pissing me off, think i may as well cut the worktop myself

Theres no chippy's about anymore mate because they've all gone to be IT Consultants thinking thats where the money is..

because of a shortage of joiners ,theres plenty money to be made in the building trade,its more likely they cant be bothered doing such a little job.

 

if you were in yorkshire id do it for you mate, the problem uve got is most decent lads are so busy, if you need any advice on doing it yourself just ask, it aint that hard
