Default brakes on s2

I have a problem with my brakes that is really getting on my tits now. There are 2 pipes coming from the resovoir the 2 rubber ones and it is leaking fluid from there my mate has put jubille clips on but still the fluid leaks, A seal maybe?

They're the same fitment and usually have o rings, i had to fix my fuel line as the O-ring was perished but i couldnt find one to fit, personally IMO, kill 2 birds with 1 stone and remove the ABS altogether, its renowned for being shite aswell as making the pedal feel very poor.

how big a job is removing the abs and what would that involve mate?

Not a massive job, but the pipes need joining up as they will no longer run to the ABS modulators. Most people get copper pipes made up and simply link the pipes up, some use pipes from a non ABS car but then the master cylinder needs changing, be easiest to just get some copper pipes and connect it up, then the hardest bit is probably just unbolting the modulators.

Thats alright if i knock the labour down to Ł40 per hour should be able to do it for less than Ł500

i have a new master cylinder with a resovoir on it gonna replace that and the pipes see if its any better

no of e-bay i say new its second hand but apparently good its not the whole thing just the metal arm that comes out of the drum with the resovoir on

Just the master cylinder then? You won't need to change that, just change the bottle, it pulls off, you may even be able to get away without bleeding the brakes........
