Default It runs!!! and F***in well

After complete rebuild!

Primed with oil, timed up and started first time and ran really well!



A1 (done the bottom end) and I done the rest - - Fukin pleased

Don't forget, easy doesn't mean pootling around necessarily. Don't labour the engine (too low rev's for gear) and try to vary the load and rev's the engine sees. e.g. a 1000 miles up the motorway and back ain't good for running engines in.

yeah mate i know

dont labour it and dont rag the arse off it, and let the car drive the engine occasionally (over run) to help bed the rings and bearings in the other way


Whats the best oil after run in.

Currently running in on mineral 15/40

and was gunna use magnatec after wards

sounds correct.

I use Silkolene Pro S, wouldn't personally use Magnatec. There's a couple of Cossie oil threads if you do a search, or OilMan can advise.
