Default focus rs brembos on my S1 ?

hello all, i was just wondering, as i have a set of brand new focus rs calipers if there is a fitting kit to fit them on my s1 out there somewhere, i have failed after hours of searching on tinterweb, i am aware i will have to have some discs with custom bells.. i duno is it worth it? any suggestions????

Red-Dot do a kit for these now, I'm not sure if they would supply the kit without the calipers

Worth a try though!


Other than that, You'll have to go custom

I don't think the kit that Red-Dot do use the Focus RS calipers radders....the Red-Dot ones are radial mount rather than lug mount!

Am doing the same conversion on my series 2.Iv,e found 2 places that sell the conversion brackets. 1.ZOO MOTORSPORT,but the owner is ill and the place is closed for now...2..THORPE ENGINEERING,but he didn,t have any left when i rang 2 weeks ago.Said he will get some more made but don't know when.As you can read ,i'm having as much luck as you.Let me know how you get on as i am desperate for some aswell.

Spot on mate,they don't use FOCUS RS calipers and their kit cost about Ł750.

I thought the kit had FRS calipers... PF Nick has a kit on his car and i could have sworn they was

I am using focus rs discs on my conversion,PF NICK'S are not focus rs calipers as mentioned above.The only things you need for my conversion are.FOCUS RS CALIPERS...FOCUS RS DISCS....CONVERSION BRACKETS..AND BRAIDED ESCORT RS TURBO BRAKE HOSES.Will let you know if i can get hold of the brackets.

ZOO MOTORSPORT are Ł100 and THORPE ENGINEERING are Ł80 but found both are not available at the moment.Let me know if you no otherwise.

there is a chap in glasgow making them and selling them, its through a friend who works for a local motorsport company,of which the guy suppiles all his caliper brackets for most fords, we will see what happens. L

Have you tried THORPE ENGINEERING.I havn't rang him for a while.Try him on 07919 88 62 37.Let me know how you get on,as i 'm fucked without them.

Went on his website and it said he can make any brake conversion bracket at a price of around Ł211.A bit steep for me.I'm not that desperate YET.Will ring him tommorrow to confirm price.BIGLEE, I take it you had no luck with ZOO MOTORSPORT and THORPE ENGINNERING???

Spoke to MARTIN today,said he would need my FOCUS RS CALIPERS,DISCS and my 17 INCH WHEEL to custom make the brackets.All for Ł120 and would take about 2 weeks..SORTED!!!

have you got it sorted? i still need to get mine sorted, i wonder if martin will make a set the same as yours for mine? i got a set of brackets from jl mspprt, but they dont fit with the focus discs, aparently i have to get AP discs with custom bells...fook that! so let me know how you get on with the focus discs mate ....Ta

REYLANDS brackets use FOCUS RS DISCS AND CALIPERS.Still waiting for them to be done ,should be ready next week.

Thanks Tony....I'm gonna order up some new pads for my Front Brembos but my discs are 32mm not 28 so thats gonna cause me some problems
