i have a mint uncracked dash sitting on the shelf not for sale though .....but it will be for 1k

 

i know af a new one for £600

 

If i owned a 3 door i'd sell my dash for a grand and get a custom carbon fibre one built instead

i have had a look and there might be an issue with a repaired crack on the dash...just going by the pics

there is defintely an issue with the carpet it is pictured on

just stick a saff dash in and they dont crack - look almost identical except for the speaker vent.

i think i'm going to put my dash on e-day as mine hasn't got any cracks , i'll replace it with a sappy dash

 

That Dash is worth more than my car!

Ima glad to see this dash making so much money as it restores faith in me thats there is people out there who appreciate how hard and rare a particular item is,
Its not a case of stick a sapphy dash in it,if a car is being restored to its origonal glory mint parts go for mint money,
Mark my words certain items are going to go through the roof,seems to me there far to many people to quick to judge what someone else is prepared to pay.
You fail to realise these parts are not available any longer a bit like antiques really
I too have an uncrack dash and could have sold it a month ago for 1K but its not for sale as its that rare to find one

 

A couple of people were gob-smacked when i bought a brand new 3 door jack cover off Ebay 2 weeks ago for 70 quid! In my oppinion it was very cheap and i just had to have it even though i don't have a 3 door The guy also sent me a mint s/h one as well I agree with you that certain parts that are very hard to find will always command silly money due to their rarity but i would also replace the dash in a 3 door with a saff one if i had a mint one and could get a grand plus for it

 

BTW if i wanted a mint 3 door dash the 1st place i would be looking would be at every xr4i that is for sale to see if it had a minter in it and they are exactly the same

my old 3 door was modified so i was happy to put in a dash from a 2.0s sierra from a local scrappy, £20 and take what i wanted as the car was being crushed the next day

 

I sold a perfect three-door dash for £50 about three or four years ago and felt guilty then.

Wish I had just left it stored away!!!

, i think i might get a saph dash and sell my dash (which only has 1 small 10mm crack on it), ok wont get 1K for it but it would be worth it
