Dealer special, not a factory model. Some had 1.9 engines, but not all.

Original kit had it's own front bumper, not a Cossie style one.

 

wot is the difference between a rattlesnake and the rs turbo?? just the bodykit??

 

The Rattle snake was just a body kit that some dealers fitted (usually to XR3i's) to make a dealer special edition - it wasn't a genuine Ford model, but had RS 1900 stickers (RS for RattleSnake, not Rallye Sport).

 

o rite... fair do's what other variations of fords are there then?? other than your standard rs's and cosworths??

 

The Rouse Sport Cosworth (302-R & 304-R) was available through certain Ford dealers, and then the Monte EsCos (interior trim & wheels) was a Factory special edition to celebrate winning the Monte Carlo rally.

Also a plethora of special edition cabriolets on the MK4 Escort.
