question about co screw on metering head HELP
needed my co turned down for mot
friend brought his co machine round
warmed car up
when he put allen key in car stalled
started her back up but she wouldnt idel
now she wont start at all
any ideas please

You've obviously pushed the flap down when pushing the allen key, somewhat of an "art" adjusting the mixture on them. You've either......adjusted the allen key and its running too rich/lean whatever depending on which way u turned it, OR and more likely IMO, you've flooded it.........
When you adjust it again to sort the mixture for the mot, use blue tac around the allen key and turn it while the engines running and it won't stall, because there is no air leak from it

Earlier metering heads just had a screw to block the hole, so obviously while adjusting the mixture you introuce an air leak. Later ones have a spring loaded pole over it which means there is no air leak.
You won't know what one of these is akito akito-man because your car is an inferior E plate
Plus your car has more air leaks than i care to mention
