just taken car out for first time since fitting the new wheels. it has been lowered only 25 mm and is on standard gas shocks, but the new wheels are scrubbing on the drivers side, any ideas i thought these would just be a straight bolt on as it is not lowered a great deal
It depends on the suspension. I fitted the Arrows to mine, and it rubbed over speed bumps and with more then 2 people in the car. Bought a spax suspension kit for £120 off e-bay, got the shock's and the springs, fitted them, not a single sound now, even 5's up in the car

it sounds like they are only rubbing on the drivers side, no noise from the rears.i have just had new shocks fitted and all the car polybushed. i have just had a new steering rack fitted aswell, the car has gone in for its first mot since it was restored and they said they will set up the tracking to see if that helps. you would think with the amount of people fitting these to there s2 that there must be a cure. what is the worst thing that can happen ? worn tyres ???
ive got the rs7s on my s2 but wen it was fully resprayed and had new arches put in, they trimmed the arches and bodykit back before it was sprayed so wen it comes back on the road this summer it shouldnt have any clearance issues
