cool. get some stainless self tappers then. drill a small pilot hole the raise the torque on the drill and power em in level. heater box might want a bit of persuasion tho, most do. just get a mate to lean on it while you put the first screw in each side.

i drilled and tapped mine,

drill the holes with an 5 mm drill bit, then get a 6mm tap and thread the whole, dont need to strip suspension for this

using self tappers will make the brace usuless and just a cosmetic add on

lol do it properly mate, you only have to drop the strut down a bit. undo the top bolt and will come enough to get your hand up in there

Do it properly with nuts and bolts!!

How much load do you think the self tappers will take during conering before they start to come loose??!! OR it it just for cosmetic purposes

As above, nut's and bolts if you want the brace to do what it was designed for.

Or self tappers if its just for looks.

A lot of them get a small cut-out where it meets the box (brake master cylinder end, not fuse box end) as the plastic is hard and is not very pliable. If you don't make the cut out, it will distort the top of the box and the seal won't sit over the vent in the bonnet as it should.
