Default S1 RS Turbo or a 3 Door Serria Cosworth?

Hi I am thinking of selling my S1 RS Turbo to help pay for a 3 Door Cosworth. First am I making the right choice? The S1 has a full Ford history, lots of bills, almost completely standard except for samcos and a dump value, had a new Ford exhaust fitted just before it went into storage. It has been off the road and dry stored since 2000/01. It has done 70K. It has had 5 owners. It does have a little rust in the usual places. It has the original front wings and panels; it has not been cut or welded. The 3 Door as a lot of bills, not a complete service history, has done 91K, has had 9 owners and has been cut and welded. Can’t decide, I got the S1 out of the garage the other night, cleaned it, put some petrol in it and took for a quick drive, felt good!
Thanks for your advice.

tbh from what you wrote, i would stick with th S1 if its been looked after and as good as you say.

If you really want to get a 3dr, i'm sure there are ones out there that are better than the one you have written about.

IMO keep the S1, look after it and then if you want a 3dr wait til the ideal car comes along, why trade a good, tidy car for one thats gonna be a money pit potentially? The way prices are good RS's will only increase in value, where as the poor ones become cheaper.

Thanks, been running it over in my mind for days now! I keep finding myself returning to the exact same thought and I have only been offered £2000 for the S1, it would break my heart to let it go for that.
Thanks

I kept the S1. Think I made the right choice. Have had the the oil, air filter, oil filter, fuel filter, plugs, Value steam seals & rocker cover gasket replaced and then took it for a MOT all it needed was a buld replacing. Not bad considering how long it has been stored for. Do I sell it or put it back in the garage as I can't afford to run to cars. Had some people asking questions (was it for sale) while cleaning it on the drive. Not sure whether to let it go as money is tight (some unexcepted bills) but I don't want to be taken or a ride.
Thanks for any help offered.

If you can keep the car, keep her.....................for the reason said above. if finances dictate otherwise then it can't be helped but if you can hold on to her, do it.
