Hi on my S1 I have noticed there is an air leak coming from between the break master cylinder and the break servo. From what I understand there is a seal between the two parts, but Ford no longer list the part. What can I use, or do, as there car will no longer idle correctly.

Had same problem too mate only way was to get 1 new is buy a whole new brake servo kit and fook that they wanted loads i just went and got a good condition 1 off a car in scrappy....if not you could use the rubber band thats on your side reapeters as it do same job

 

I got one from my local plumbing place, 20p

 

Wes is right it's just an O ring/get it at any motor factors.

 

Thanks for the advise. I will take the old one out and pop down to the local plum shop followed b6y the auto factors!
