I think you may be in for a bit of a shock - a car that size with that much torque ? Love to see it.........

Not sure really, went out in a 2.5V6 and compared with my old 200bhp S2 I think acceleration would be close, but myne pulled loads better top end.

Didnt actually race though

As far as gettin it to fit, a local place here called Power Crazy has done a few.

And yeah they arent very stable around the corners! And still doesn't beat the thrill of a turbo!!lol

i know beardy's the black corsa above ^^ when he had the orgional 2.5V6 in it sounded awesome but to be honest it was not that fast. My honda in the sig quite easily beat him on a motorway from 30 upwards

not seen it now it has the 3.0l he dont bring it out any more

The 2.5 v6 and 3.0 v6 vauxhall engines are identical sized externally, so its no issue swapping from one to the other.

With a bit of work its pretty easy to see well over 200bhp from them and masses of torque right from low down too.

Ive not driven one yet though, but on paper certainly looks like a good conversion, and the extra wieght is fruther back than on a 2.0 16v so i would imagine they still handle pretty well too

My mate built an Astra GSi powered by the V6 motor and it only just had the legs on our old 2i.

the v6 is a heavy engine should be slightly slower than yours. a worked 2.0 16v and you may of had some problems. few up here that are very quick talking 13 sec quarters
