slick tyre size help

Default slick tyre size help

Im confused as fook by slick tyre sizes compared to road tyres so any of you tyre experts can you tell me the nearest slick sizes to the folowing

194/45/15"

and

195/40/16"

if they are different in size,how much bigger/smaller are they?

Well, AFAIK, slick tyres are sized in the following way.....

The first number is the width. They tend to be more of an accurate width than a road tyre. So, 190 = 190mm wide.

The second number is the overall diameter. So, 580 = 580mm diameter. A 195/45/15 is around 570mm diameter.

The third number is obviously the rim size. i.e. 15 or 16.

I don't think you will get anything close to the sizes that you state there though.

near to that would be 18/58/15
or 18/580/15
