Daz,
Yes I have mate!
Quite a price, but I have an account with RS supplies so I can appreciate how much it all costs. Just waiting to get a few other bits done first - like get the car running!

I know they are not cheap but I hate crap wiring and sub standard equipment....I do not like doing wiring on other peoples cars that I would not have on my own car...
I could do it a lot cheaper....but then I don't know wether it would last 2 years or 2 days....the ones I make I am pretty certain they will last the life of the car (excluding the relay contacts cos they can burn anytime. The relays are protected against water so shouldn't corrode).
I also wire them in such a way that if one fan or relay fails then the other fan still works so you don't lose the cooling fans completely....
Yes a fair bit of though has gone into this loom.

LOL! It's meant to aid cooling of your car not heating your front room/lounge/where ever!!
Just like to add, I don't sell many of these looms (probably due to the price and the fact people like cheap so buy a Ł2.50 switch and some house hold electrical flex) and I am not bothered if I sell many or not. The looms are to totally replace the Ford fan control system with something far superior (if installed correctly)....a fit and forget item....people either want it or don't. I work to one standard only so if cheap is what you want then don't ask me!

only realised it was a problem when the wire started to go soft and smelt funny
electrics isn't my thing. LOL
LOL!! Wires were getting hot then!
That is the base loom which will control the fans only. The one with the over ride switch works as that one does but will switch on the fans when you want for as long as you want and as soon as you switch the fans off it will revert back to the rad fan switch operation. The switch illuminates to let you know that the fans are running as well....

Not at all mate. I will openly admit that the looms are not the cheapest way to get your fans working but they will work and should work for many years to come. EVen the base loom isn't the cheapest way to get them working again but you get what you pay for.....tight cnut!
You like the 2 stage boost switch?
The other one with the spark on it is for the flamer kit!!
And I need to order another switch fo the gap but the car has gone into hiding for a while....

It's my mates 2wd Sapph. The fuel light is always on...ignore that one!
The rear lights are on in the warning display until you press the brakes for the first time after starting it or switching the ignition on...if the bulbs are blown then it should stay on...if not then they should go out.
