I know i am so indecisive but i have finally decided what i really want!
2wd
Going to put my car back to 2wd and use the Jondell high comp engine out of the track car Should be fun without the power sapping 4wd transmision especialy with the als + nos etc....
So thank fook i don't have to piss around with front driveshafts,diffs etc...when putting it back together Can't wait to get it done now and will make a start tommorow

 

spadge, surely you could make some money by selling this one and getting an already 2wd one?

How do you work that out Jim?
This car has all its original panels and paint and a decent replacement would cost me 8k ish! Even if i put another engine back in mine and staged 3'd it i don't think i would get much more than that plus i am going to enjoy doing it as that is half the fun for me

 

Yep Dan 4wd is so boring and imo is only good for one thing and that is launching!

Yep Rich but in normal use ie not on a track they are dull!

Why did'nt you just convert the old engine you just sold back to 2wd ,or dont you like the lag from t4.

Just fancy this high comp rally engine with its ickle turbo and rwd for a bit of fun instead of forever chasing Horsepower figures and doing fook all with it

2wd all the way 4 me ,bhp isnt every thing m8,just ask my m8 with the 10k 350bhp engine in his scooby.....i blow the fucker away and im only stage 1 my car does 40 miles on half a litre of oil

 

Cool mine used to do 40 miles on 2 gallons of Optimax
