Who's done it?
What box do you use?
Engine mounts?
What about clutch and flywheel and drive shafts?
All the other fabrication should be ok to do, but I just need to know if it is feasable.

 

I spoke to Jamsport about doing this a few months back for a technical question. They reckon it is possible but will be very expensive and a shit load of work to do.
No idea what bits you'd need to use, but if you do shoe horn it in, give us a shout.

ive seen a ST24 engine in a mk6 scort, it was a white one, they had to cut half the front end off to get it in lol, but it is "doable"

Ford Actually did this with the mk5/6? Escort, rear wheel drive with the 24v cosworth engine from the Granada. Had a full leather interior too looked ace, would have made catmeat out of a vr6 golf. It wasnt a production car obviously but they deffo made a driving example, i'm sure I saw it at a show a few years ago.

 

that was an escort cossie shell and a granada cossie engine you spoon, of course it was easy

try the same with a FWD escort shell

 

Yep I saw one in black, had no whale tail, and different wheels in Ford's

 

stick the v6 subframe and engine in the back like the us fiesta shogun conversion.
