just out of interest does anyone know what the numbers mean?? for instance a stock s2 actuator is a -22 so going higher to -31 or-34 gives better boost holding ability , so how come a -32 is a standard cossie one? and a -31 is a better?

is it a standard one though? and what does the cossie run as standard boost, its for an s2 rs turbo

can anyone explain the -31,-32,- 22?? i always thought that the higher you went the stronger the spring inside which would hold more boost

Class C Modified Turbo.

Only the standard production MG Metro Turbo turbocharger unit or STR 985 are permitted, together with actuatorcapsule STR 1081 (stamped 430099-32). The actuator setting is 5.0psi for 0.015” (0.38mm) of actuator rod movement.

I reckon that - before 32 is a line in between the part number and not a dash as such!

the dash bit is only applicable to garrett, its one of their part numbers, dash 31 dash 32 etc has no significance in determining spring pressures etc so a dash 27 could be stronger than a dash 34, i think stu's you best man to answer a garrett question. cheers nomad
