Cossie breaks and disks with goodridge hoses. prob be looking at around 200 quid.

so its not worth spending700 pound on for example 300mm billet 4 hi spec brakes and calipers our brembos

if u think u have the power or are aiming to have huge power then yeah

but u wil find the cossie stoppers and the ones of an st170 are bloody gud

my car is running 224 bhp at the moment and its also for looks but is it worth the money.

if you have it to spend then go for it, but at 220hp st170 conversion will do you just fine.

if you're planning for big power in the future get a good setup...brembo or AP are the daddies

I think fitting massive brakes for a car you use on the road only is a bit pointless. Even if your RST is 3000bhp it won't actually be going any faster. It is only if you take the car on track, or use the brakes a hell of a lot that they are really needed imo.

Not just your imo Tony Mine too

Standard brakes will work fine for most cars if looked after, 20 year old brake fluid and knackered discs and cheap Halfords purpleyorangebluestuff pads wont.

But fair play for thinking safe kl-mortiss Along with engine upgrades people should be thinking about stopping
