Default Employment Stuff... where do i stand

i just got a bollocksing for telling the truth...

i was quizzed by another department on colour printers and gave true and correct responses to direct questions regarding printers (not on the companies policy stuff)

n just had the company secretary moaning at my boss to moan at me to ... and i quote "keep my mouth shut" or of course lie as its in THEIR best interests to keep people uninformed (theyre a bunch of technophobes here)

am i perfectly within my right to tell em to fuck off (but put more politely) as ive FUMING over this

Just tell her you have a secret crush on her and would like to shag her doggy style over the bosses desk.

Then they will just accept ur letter of resignation, cause lets face how many people are irreplacable? If u want to put ur point forward have facts and hard evidence to back it up, Not i think or my mate says type stuff, facts and figures. Show them how u can increase productivity while keeping cost the same or even reducing them. Then u can use the words, Im sorry for attempting to increase our productivity and reduce our costs i wont do this again, Please let me extend my formal appology to yourself.

If your former employer is asked for a reference they cannot by law give a bad reference, they can only give a good one or refuse.

And if someone refuses to give a reference, what conclusion will the new employer draw?

Jim mate don't upset them now or they may decline your reference. Do what I did mate. Leave get a new job then stitch them up.

Look around while you are there and keep your eyes open for breaches of health and safety and use those. My last job had insufficient lighting in part of the office and this was reported by one of the girls that left. The company were given a rollocking and had to spend a fortune having new lighting put up in that area of the office.

Yea, this sort of shit happens all the time.

It's no good throwing your toys out of the pram about everything. Don't get me wrong, sometimes it will go too far, and then you should act, but pick and choose your fights.
