xr3i
As far as I know, no it won't, not without work (not sure what.)
www.fordsierraclub.co.uk One of the guys on there will know for definate.
If your wanting something like that, then you'll need to get an American 1900CVH bottom end, or 1800 Zetec

hi in fast-food it said if you use 1800cc zetec engine bottom end it will bolt start on an xr3i cvh engine (E reg mfi) all you need to do is get some different head bolts and use a cvh head gasket ,but I am trying to cheek this before starting.this is a non turbo zhv
thanks
thanks
I believe it is possible but you can make life harder with certain bottom ends - i.e Mondeo bottom ends have different sumps, water pumps etc which have to be changed.
It is also possible to have an 1800 Sierra CVH bottom end with a 1600 CVH head but I think the Sierra engine is built for economy rather than perfromance so it may not be worthwhile.
Hope this helps mate - they were possibilties I thought of for my XR!
