At the momant i got full g max suspension -20mm , and diamond cut rs wheels i have seen a lot of s1,s with similar set ups and the cars are lowered alot more than mine but my wheels on the rear finish flush with the out side edge of the arch, yet other s1,s with these rims on the tyre is up under the arch, any help would be great ,a few pics showing width of wheels against body work and brake set up.

 

Easy answer - having rear discs pushes the rear wheels out slightly

James got it 100%, noticed it on mine (S 2) as soon as i fitted rear disc's.Regards Micky

 

Thanks for that, I've just been thinking about getting rear discs. Leaves me with a decision to make now then but seeing as I'm only going for small bhp increase I might just stick with drums and uprate the fronts.

 

Rears only there for looks really
Christian's car still has stock rear drums and brakes fine

I was gonna suggest that other cars may had had their kit & arch trimmed also.
