Anyone upgraded their MMC card in their N70 yet? I am thinking of doing it, as I was gonna buy a 1gb mp3 player (for the odd time I go on planes, trains and automobiles
), but I got thinking and thought rather than spend £20-£30 on yet ANOTHER device to carry round, why not get a 1gb card for my phone and use that as an MP3 player?
Basically just interested to know what the biggest card is that the N70 recognises, and f anyone has had any probs with certain cards not working... Looking at Kingston ones myself, probably from China, as thats the cheapest way.....
Only thing that worry's me tho, is that the phone mp3 player will not play loud enough to work in noisy situations like on tubes and buses etc....

My N70 has been good as gold so far... It's slow (like all N70 and Symbian OS equipped Nokia's) but it hasn't forzen, or crashed (yet, lol)

Sorry to go off topic a little, but does anyone know how to retrieve a phone number from the txt in a txt message? I know it recognises it as its highlighted, but I dont know how to use it
What I ended up doing was going to forward message, then edit then copy and pasted the number using the quality little highlight button (only started using that recently but its soooo useful! esp for sending multiple photos to my pc vis bluetooth and editing txts
)
Oh also, Ive heard you can get some kind of hands free kit adapter which allows you to plug headphones in using a stereo jack. Apparently on eBay and such, havent checked it out yet but couldnt live with the nokia phones, although they look the part they fall out of me ears

I hate the Nokia headphones - but mainly cos they hurt my ears - physically! They don't fit well, so I keep having to kind of "screw" them in tighyl, and after about 15-20mins my ears hurt cos the design is very sharp and not rounded or smooth.... Stupid headphones! Plus they sound poo too - no bass at all! I will miss the ability to use the handsfree tho, but you can get ones with the mic in it BEFORE you plug the headphones in - just means you will have a LOT of cable hanging down tho
The highlighter thingy is the left hand lower button with the pencil on, you hold it and use the navi button to highlight stuff! Oh and you can then use the left and right select buttons to manipulate whatever you have highlighted

cheers for the links chaps

Half the time that pencil key does fuck all for me.... I can't get it to highlight the phone number of someone who sends me a text for example.... I can highlight the content of the text, but not the number it is from....
for the people who moan that the N70 is slow....have you tried closing the applications that you have been using properly?.....easy way to check......hold the long button next to #1 and #4 (the button above the pencil) you will get a list of apps if any have been left open. If any apps are open just select them and then exit them and just keep doing that to close all apps until your left with just the telephone sybol.
