Default Oil cooler Help

Fitted up my sandwich plate ect for my cooler and the oilstat arrived today

Dose anyone know which hose is the feed to the cooler and which is the return?

I have spun the engine over and it looks to be the rear hose which is the feed as it fills with oil but the front hose also fills up but at a slower rate

Got to get this right as its going to be a nightmare to get to once the head is back on the car.

Heres a pic of the plate and hoses.

Any help apreciated.

Cheers

Paul.

You can get the sandwich plates with or withou a stat. Ł15 - Ł20 without and Ł30+ with.

As you look at the plate youd see a screw in sensor with a visable spring inside the plate.

This is a normal one.

This is a thermoblock. You can see the stat in the corner.
