Default Escos RS500 Cooler Vs Standard Charge Cooler ???

I am trying to decide if i should fit a RS500 Style Cooler to the Escort,
but it has put out a good power as it is, Are they much better than the
standard kit ??....

well ive heard that crage coolers arnt to clever after about 350bhp on my car i went from a standard intercooler to the rs500 it made ahuge difference and the charge temp was so so much lower

I've got a Pro-Alloy one on mine now, seems to be a considerable improvement over the std chargecooler, and I'm confident that this will still be the case when the warmer weather comes.

You'll still be fine with the std EsCos air2air/chargecooler at that level, imo. Not saying you won't gain something by swapping, but not a necessity just yet.

Mines stage 3 and i fitted a rs500 cooler from radtec. now peaks at 25psi and holds 22/23 psi. Felt a better response when fitted and allowed us to up the boost a tad. charge temps much lower also Plus it looks ace

think its got to be better for the act temp,so i would get one if i was you.

be there too for the next upgrade.
