my mate has got a mazda mx-5 he has asked me to put a zetec turbo in it the engine is as good as installed that was the easy bit but i am un sure what management to use i was told to use megasquirt any advice would be greatly appreciated cheers

Come on guys someone must be able to help this guy out!

 

i know of a few people that have used megasquirt and for a diy engine management sytem it rocked! this lad brought his car to a show and he had just fitted it and it wasnt working right within half an hour him and his mate had sorted it all out and it was absolutly flying! its suposedly quite easy to get going have you been on the megasquirt website? you need to get on there and read as much as possible about it i believe there is also a forum or file sharing thing where people can give you base maps just so you can get it running then you tune it yourself.

i also remeber a tuner has used it once before when an owner brought it in but i cant remember who, sorry!
