got a 350 bhp saff on greens and t34 and ive just had it set up a couple of weeks back but im sure its overfuelling quite a bit.Under hard acceleration in 1st and 2nd im getting a lot of black/brown smoke and also on overrun on the motorway get a big cloud of the same. Also my mate followed me the other day and he said it stank of fuel so i dont know if im being paranoid or is this quite normal for a cossie. Do your cars do the same?????????

shouldnt get too much smoke under any circumstances.

i say a lot but it always looks worse at night when you see the smoke in the lights behind you.....but even still, it does give out a fair bit according to my mates.

im a bit annoyed now coz when i pay someone to set the car up who has a good reputation,they should get it right 1st time.....now i have to fuck about taking another day off work to go and get it sorted again.

 

Get it live mapped Lammy, i know your quite away, but i`d recommend Karl NMS, or as the orthers have said, get it back to who set it up for you

got the car from bonnie scotland about 6 weeks ago but previous to that it came from essex.......plate is F646 ***

did you get that oil leak fixed??

could be oil leaking onto your exhaust and burning off??

 

doesnt use hardly any oil , i think i have the oil leak fixed....clip missing off the turbo oil return pipe but need to get it up on my mates ramps to recheck....oil on the exhaust was happening too when i had the leak....on boost was loads of blue smoke whick i thought was coming from zorst but was coming from under the car. This cossie does not burn oil on start up or tickover and is one of the quietest cossie engines ive heard. IMO the problem lies with fuelling and NOT excessive engine wear..But if it needs a rebuild then it will get one..as simple as that

No need for a live map on greens unless your motors spec is VERY unusual pal, just get the main things checked over, like fuel pressure, sensors etc and have the software checked out to ensure its all as it should be for your spec.
