now if you wander away for an hour and come back its all gone to shit and you cant find anything

 

Im sure if Stu put a vote in place again, a lot of the people who voted 1 room have now changed their minds and would vote for 2 rooms

 

Agree with you Spadge, I just look at 1st page now and it's tough if there's anything good on P2/3/4/5 etc. Page 1 is filled up within an hour and a half now.

 

Fuck voting just do it for the sake of the forum This isn't a chat room its supposed to be a Ford Enthusiasts Forum where petrol heads can talk about cars! The rest can all go in GD2

Fair point Jules and completely agree for the sake of the forumn put it back to 2 rooms, but as Stu said in the previous vote, the people who pay for the bandwidth should have a say in the outcome and the only fair way for that to happen is to have a vote

We had an obvious overpopulation problem and we rectified it nicely, then everyone complained about the 2 rooms so we had a vote... result = YOU LOT fooking voted that we change it back!!

 

I rarely came on here before it went to 2 gd's Rich
But when it went to 2 i started to take more interest again!
Now its back to 1 again and i feel the need to go paint the lounge or do some ironing lol

I dont think you should have had the vote to be perfectly honest.

I think you should just trust your own judgement as to whats the best for the forum, you know it better than anyone else after all!

I actually agree with that, but the gold members pay for the place to exist, so i like them to have their say in things like this, if only to confirm i am doing what teh majority want.

I have to say that this thread looks VERY biased towards going back to 2 rooms, but when you look at it again, its the views of half-a-dozen people.

It's a 2-sided coin. I hardly came on here atall when it was 2 rooms, check my post history, the proof is there. I just couldn't be bothered. I find it more tedious watching 2 forums than seeing past the crap that is sometimes posted in GD.

IMO, if you go back to 2 rooms, you will see the membership figures drop as countless people have the same opinion as me, the discussion threads showed that.

So, why not just get over it? You will never be able to please everyone, so lets move on?

Those that just want to read about cars should perhaps spend more time in the car-specific rooms. I post almost as much in the RST section as I do in GD.

The trade section, now there's a subject worth moaning about. Considering the traffic on this Forum, I cannot believe how slow the Trade section is. No-one EVER goes in there!

 

That vote is not fair as there was never a mass mail sent out about the vote, not to mention its in teh wrong room anyway, so its results are incomparable to the original.

 

My point was that the powers that be at Sky make the decisions and do not rely on the viewers to do their scheduling
You know , I know and slowly but surely every other fooker knows that 2 GD's was the way forward so fook voting just make an executive decisions based on instinct and change it back
