Default What wheels for S1

This is doing my head in at the momant i want a mtorsport style wheel 17"dont like 5 spoke mo,s love the 6 but its to big!!!!!!! rl7,s great just phoned them ,no longer made GREAT not! any suggestions people?

i always think that mk3's look good with Azev A's, only have 5 spokes tho.....

compomotive MO six spokes are available in 17's mate,they even do them in a 16 too!!!

The smallest 6 spoke in 17" is to big as its 8x17.

but they will fit if you use 205 tyre's!! my mate has them on his motor!

i always like series 1's with the original TSW EVO's on but i dunno where you'd get them from now

I used to like the polished 7 spokes, still do. But very common.


My choice was the Azev's

Just to add that i would never use a 17in wheels on any Mk3/Mk4 escort.

Max is 16in 7.5j maybe 8j on the rear if you have done mods to suit.

Thanks for input all!!! JANO big respect m8 love all what you do,cant see 8j,s going on as look how wide the back is with 7.5j,s cant lower it any more because of the width cheers andy

They look like 17in above?

I wouldnt run 17in. 16in as a max. This is the reason you will have problems with the arches and height of the car.



On the XR3 i run 215/45/16 on 8J rims. No problems and great handling.

Keep what you've got mate. They look spot on, are almost brand new, and so what if a few other cars have got them. Shows how good they suit the S1
